Open year round. We liked the fact that this park is IN town and a short walk to most everything. Showers, laundry, cable TV, were good. Wireless didn't work, but its available most anywhere on main street for free. Management was nice. Our neighbors were nice. Its at 10,152' above sea level so you'll neeed to be in better than avg shape. We had lots of neighbors leave within 24hrs because of the high altitude. We are very athletic, so we hiked, biked, river swam and rafted, and thouroughly enjoyed the area. 14,000' mtns are everywhere. There is a narrow gauge train. We'll be back this winter to snow ski, and again next summer. lonestarace Wed, 04 Aug 2010 19:00:16 -0400 EAGLE CREEK ( RUIDOSO AREA) http://www.irv2.com/campgrounds/showproduct.php?product=1041

by: lonestarace

Description: NEW RV PARK ...... 33 acres next to National Forest..29 sites..level has 9 pull thrus...family run just open 6 weeks...located on Ski run rd on the way to ski area...lots of wildlife...full hook ups,pet friendly on a leash of course, hiking up former ski area, even has an old ski lift, putting and chipping green, wireless internet.. big rig easy access...all you hear is the birds, elk in morning..really NICE... a hidden undiscovered jem... currently has 2 prevost, 2 monaco, 1 newmar mtn aire, and 2 travel trailers, huge sites.... lonestarace Wed, 07 Jul 2010 11:23:09 -0400
