Stayed 7 nites in Dec 2018. People were friendly, beach walkway is a long hike even when you park your bike at the trailhead. They were upgrading the lower numbered sites and had construction during the day. Beach is wonderful but no restrooms.

I made my first solo RV camping trip to this place. The staff made me feel right at home and relaxed. Good place to bring your bicycle for riding. The lake is small but picturesque. My site was a pull thru with water/electric. Nice dump station. Place was clean and well maintained. Great place to go with children and to fish.

We arrived at 3pm on a Saturday and the office was closed. They had some people to give you paperwork and escort you to your site. Felt very rushed nothing explained. Got to our site on L street backing up to the main road. VERY noisy (we asked to be moved the next day) Surly guy came to escort us to new site. DO not let them "help" you back in - they do not have a clue how to guide in a 40' rv. (have your trusting partner do it!) Other than that the grounds are nice, some of the park models are showing some age, but the pools, spa, areas are great. Dog parks are small and all gravel.

We spent two nights in Mar 2019. We would have spent longer on our way north but the weather this year was too cold to stay.

the reservation [and full payment] was made with the clear understanding that a disconnect would not be necessary. when arriving, the "host" was pretty clear that everyone is expected to disconnect. i managed to park cross-wise in the space and stay off the road - but that made using their ill-placed hookups problematic on arrival we were told we did not need any papers - this meant no map; no receipt or WiFi access information

Sad campground but could be fixed up with effort and attention. It used to be a fair place to stop for an overnight but not any longer. It can be muddy and rutted when wet. The power has issues so put a surge protector on before you plug in. No one in the office if you need change for the bill or if you have issues. It is a campground we need to stop at on our way to Michiganan. you will need one after driving the horrible I-70 near Indianapolis. And then I-69 from Indianapolis is terrible.

This is a very nice campground with clan bathrooms and a very nice store. The sites are paved and level. All systems worked well.

I really enjoyed my stay here. The owner staff were wonderful. They worked tirelessly to make sure everything was good. The campground is small, but there is a pond area with nice scenery and across the street is Lake Erie. The food stand is excellent and adds a nice touch. Everything worked well. Sewer was a little up hill, so hand over hand technique was necessary to completely empty the sewer hose on my site, but not bad. I would definitely return.
