We stayed here to visit friends in the area. We wanted to be close to SF and Alameda and the choices were few. The resort (if you can call it that) is right on the ocean. The draw back is that with it as close to SF, land is at a premium and the sites are very narrow, I believe they told me 12'. The front ocean sites barely have room for slide-outs on the same side. The brochure says there is room for quad slides, but I don't think it is feasible. There was no room for awnings, or to sit out in chairs. Sites 42,51 and 52 are the largest, and might accommodate slides and awnings. The campground is mostly asphalt. Another campground site notes long term RV'ers, but from our site we didn't see any, but a walk confirmed they were there. It was quiet during our stay.
The view cannot be beat if you are in an ocean site, and the location makes visiting attractions on the peninsula convenient.
We would stay here again. We give it an overall rating of 6, but a view rating of 10+.
Hurry, the ocean is claiming more of their land, as you can see in the photos.

Only one in the vicinity worthwhile

cramped and always crowded

The cliff erosion took away full hook-ups with the great ocean view. It is now a parking lot for cars and for dry camping RV's.
Still a lot of full hook-ups in front and middle of park.
This year there was a vehicle in our assigned spot, after office closed and no one could find the culprit. Anyway, Dorothy the mgr gave us two free nights to make good.

Stayed 2 days. It is really just a parking lot. I stayed in a pull-through (site 143). It was long enough for my 35 ft trailer and my crew-cab truck to fit lengthwise, but just barely wide enough to slide my slides out. I was literally 2 inches from the large concrete posts with my slides, and my steps on the other side were about 4 inches from the white line. We were really there just to visit San Francisco, and that is exactly what we did. I did not do anything except sleep and eat at the campground. I got exactly what I had prepared for after looking at this campground on the Internet before booking a reservation. I would stay here again if I wanted to see San Francisco, but we walked 6 miles in one day so I have had my fill.
