Cons:

Need to ensure at least for us that we have a lot that is not buried in the woods.

We really like this campground and always get spot A10 right on the corner. There are enough things to do for a night weekend with min golf, the pool, arcade room, ping pong and we go when the MD State Wine Fest is in town. Highly recommend this campground!

Just got home from a 2-night stay here. This is a fairly large place, with a fair number of permanent sites for nearby residents, and RV storage, in addition to transients. The sites are nice, mostly fairly level, and gravelled. The interior roads are narrow and twisty, so you have to take your time. They could use a bit of tree trimming to open things up just a bit. The office complex has the pool, the game room(s), laundry, showers, etc, plus the usual mini golf, a bouncing pillow, and some play areas behind the office. There's a nice catch-and-release fish pond, and several smaller play areas with swings and jungle-gym things scattered around the park. They also have several pavilion areas for group get-togethers. The mostly older, retired-looking staff speeds around on golf carts all over the place, so one has to keep an eye out so as to not get run over.
My $51.50 (which was the Good Sam discount price) included Electric, Water and Sewer, and I think CATV, but I don't use TV so not sure. We had a back-in site, and had to bug them to replace the picnic table, which a previous resident(s) had moved to a spot two sites away.
Water pressure was good, actually a bit high by my gauge (60 PSI +/-) so I had to dial it down with my regulator. My 30-amp service showed barely 100 volts coming in, but I don't know if that was just my site, the 30A service, or what. We had to fire up the genny to start the microwave..
Firewood in a milk crate was $7.50. Mini-Golf was $3.00. Didn't check out the game room or laundry, but the shower/bath house near our site was well kept and clean, so I assume the others were as well.
Bottom line - nice enough, if a bit pricey. Only game in town for events at the nearby Howard County Fairgrounds.

Here's my report on Ramblin Pines Campground, Woodbine, MD. It's about 30 miles southwest of Baltimore and close to I70 in MD. It's been there at least 30 years. Over 200 sites. Well maintained, the restrooms were small but clean and updated. They have a lot of amenities such as a fishing pond, pool, horse shoes, bounce pad and shuffle board. We had a nice corner site that included sewer, cable, electric and water. You could tell this was an older park because they had a telephone outlet as well. The staff was nice and the store was well stocked. The only issue I had was that the water supply was encased in a large concrete pipe placed vertically in the ground with a cement cap. I imagine this is so that they don't have pipe freezing issues. However, it was very difficult to get the water hooked up. I tried leaning down into it with no success. I had to get into the pipe and squat down in order to get the water hooked up. Then repeat the process in order to disconnect and rinse. This was very inconvenient. Other than that we had a nice time here and would return to this park.
