We spent six nights at this RV Resort in early August, 2010 and were very happy with the accomodations! I have NEVER seen nicer showers at any RV resort, and the pool and hot tub were new and clean. They served a free continental breakfast every day with your newspaper, and the gentleman serving breakfast was well versed in the surrounding areas - supplying us daily with a list of things we wanted to do and see. Two nights out of the week, they had an open bar for an hour or two with music and entertainment. The area was PERFECT - with Petosky only 6 miles to the north, Charlevoix only 10 miles to the south, and Bay Harbor only 2 miles to the north. There was also the most beautiful bike path I've ever seen directly across the road that you could take to any of the towns I mentioned. The ONLY downfall that I can think of is that their cleaning staff was unattentive to the restrooms. I know many of the guests didn't use the restroom facilities, so they probably didn't check it daily - but I was dismayed to find the same piece of "squashed" cherry on the restroom floor the entire week, along with a couple dead bugs in the corner of the shower. Overall, a LOVELY place to stay - both for accomodations and location.

This review is based on taking the tour in September 2010. This resort is almost new. All the common area facilities are developed. We were at the resort as we are looking for a site to purchase. Overall this is a very nice resort. The common areas are very well done. There is a clubhouse, fitness room, pool, putting course (extra nice), tennis, etc. I can not give this resort a 10 rating because there is no protection from anyone walking on the property from the rear (old route 31). There is also road noise from the main road (route 31) in the front and old route 31 in the back. As to purchasing a lot, this resort is not for us. In addition to what has been mentioned, the property is a cookie cutter layout. There are two rectangles lined with motor coach lots. Renting here would be okay,
