Description:

We stayed at Tres Rios in Glen Rose Texas the last of November 2010.This is a membership park located on the east side of Glen Rose Texas. Check in was easy and they help you get in to a site. The staff was friendly and there were activities although not a peak season. There are three rivers with one that should be great fishing as you could see big ones swimming around. Didn’t get to fish as, I threw my back out. Anyway it is a pretty park with birds and squirrels. It would be kid friendly as long as they are supervised so they didn’t fall in the river. Pool was closed due to time of year.
Roads are caliches (White Texas gravel) and when the wind blows it was dusty. There are no pads and grass was mostly sand spurs or stickers that got all over the floor and in your (my) socks. Glen Rose is a small town but Granbury is about 15 miles away with most anything you need including Walmart. Ft Worth isn’t far but the road isn’t great.
