Description:

Very large park which includes an RV park with lots of level, pull thrus and back in sites. Very well maintained and staff is nice. Great for dog owners as there are dog paths throughout the RV area. Dogs are not allowed in the park section. All dogs must be leashed as there are no off leash areas at the park but we drove to the beaches anyhow. Upon first arrival we were placed in the Loganberry Loop area, which was nice but we were smashed in and my large dog was uncomfortable. We asked if we could move and the staff was very helpful. We moved to the back area which had a really large space, with a lot more room for my dog to "have his space" . Park is quite, close to shopping, has WiFi at no extra cost. Xtra vehicle parking was not an issue. Good pool and nice laundry facility. The only Con I could find, is that there was only one laundry area, which could become crowded at times. Other than that I'll be back. Spent two months here, off and on. Loved IT!

We have stayed there many times. Its close to freeways to all the cool stuff in San Diego. They have a great pool area with spa, kids pool and a big pool too. They have several event per month going on that may interest you. During the Summer, they have a free outdoor family movie night several night. They stock the lakes with all sorts of fish and have special fishing events during the year.

sand/dirt spots

Stayed in class a. Arrived after a rainstorm, Staff brought extra sand to fill small "pot holes" in site that were pooling water. Cable hookup was broken but again staff fixed it right away! Great access to SD at 1/2 the cost of the beach parks. large park with plenty of sites. 7 lakes , 2 for rv's , 5 for public pay use. Coyotes and rattlers nearby so be alert.
