For this reason it is not a very deep lake. If I recall the conversation correctly, it is an average of 5-7 feet deep.
176 Electric sites, all roads are paved as are the camp sites. activities include; boating and swimming along with bike rentals and miniature golf. The camp store loans games, fishing and sporting equipment to registered campers.

Pros:
Cons:

We stayed in site 7 for one day while passing through. Since the lake is shallow, the lake had an algae bloom and was closed to swimming (this is a common occurrence in the warm summer days). One thing that did stand out was how great the customer service was by the state park employees and the hosts. It made me think that the campground was a for profit business. It was the best group of people that we have ever had contact with of any state campground.

We give it a eight because of the great service.

Pros: Great people
Cons: Some sites flood

Very dog friendly campground. They have lots of activities for campers like movies, stone painting, scavenger hunts, and bingo. The have a splash pad for children and they are installing a brand new swimming pool. It's a great place to go kayaking too
