Pros: Beautiful paved level sites. Some right on the water.
Cons: Not too many trees

We stayed at this campground 4 years ago. It was our favorite vacation memory. The sites are paved and level with a nice grassy area for the kids to play on. It has a nice playground for kids. What we liked most was the fact that our site was on the water. This campground is close to three beautiful public beaches. We will definitely go back there!

Pros: Right on the Atlantic
Cons: A little far from Providence but who would really care?

Tent to pull through sites, I used a 38' with toad no problem, nice sites as well as the local areas.

I plan on using the area again in the very near future.

Not all sites are level especially in the older section that has only electric and water hook ups.

If air conditioning is essential to you call ahead as there are times when AC usage is not allowed so as not to overload their electrical system.

Pros: Sites are mostly level and paved. It is well maintained and best of all, very quiet.
Cons: No activities if that is your thing.

Because we live in Rhode Island about 25 miles from this campground, we often use it as a quick getaway. Our favorite thing to do is to reserve a site from Monday to Friday and then go back and forth to work during the day from the cg (Think Rhode Island, very very small, can go anywhere in the state in about an hour). Because it is near the entrance to one of the many harbors along the south shore we can hear the marker buoys sounding far off shore. It is so peaceful that you can forget all the other cares you may have and just live in the moment.

We highly recommend this campground as a stop over or a destination. But get your reservations early, it sells out fast.
