Description: This is a very large park in the State Park in Oregon on the Pacific coast. This is a very large park that is ready for all types of camping including horse camping, airplane camping, tent camping and lots of full hook-ups. Half the park is reserved for pre-registration and the other half is first come first served. Lots of bike trails and the roar of the ocean is 24/7. We camped here in a motorhome 12' 3" high. There are very few sites that we could fit into because the tree branches are so low over the sites. We stayed here two nights on April 15, 16th, 2013. We road our bikes everywhere since there are bike trails through out the park. I want to rate the park high, but if your in a motorhome or tall 5th wheel your going to find it tough to get under the trees (and the branches are big tough brutes). I'm giving it a 7 only because of the tree problem.

Pros: We have stayed there for 3 consecutive years in August. Weather has always been pretty good. Great beach and the town of Manzanita is just up the road. Nice little town with shops.
Cons: Lots of kids in the summer and no sewer hookup but there is a dump station at entrance.

We have camped there is a 28' MH and our new to us 34'. We fit fine, but larger coaches may have a problem. We have always stayed in loop D close to beach access. Lots of bike trails and the campsites are pretty spacious. The dunes help to lessen the winds which can come up a bit in the pm.

One of our favorite beach state parks.
