Pros:

Lots of things to do such as hiking, wine tastings, swimming, mini-golf, moon bounce, museum, free pancake breakfast. Harpers Ferry National Park is right next door.

Cons:

They pack you in. I counted 15 spots within 50 feet of us. Lots of kids, dogs & noise. The cable was free but 3 of the 24 channels didn't work. The WI-fi was free and the transponder was right next to our site but we could not connect.

Stayed here June 12-23, 2013. This was a big park (over 300 spaces) and was close to capacity. The staff was very nice and there were tons of activities. We had water/elec/sewer. We went to a huge flea market up the street Saturday morning, then hit the Hollywood Casino in Charlestown in the afternoon.
It was interesting in that we were able to just sit outside and people watch because there were so many people there. And with the AC on in the RV, we were able to escape the heat and noise when we wanted to. This is a neat place to take a family. If you want a place to take your rig where it's peaceful and quiet, you may want to look at a state park instead. We camped here in a motorhome.

Pros:

Lots of extras
|
Cons:

Very Small Sites, Busy, Pricey
|

The campground was clean and well run. Getting access to our campground was not convenient (had to make a u-turn in the large check-in parking lot) with the site been extremely small and difficult to enter and exit. At the time we didn't have a toad with us, but if we did we would have had to park it in the community parking lot. At check-in guest services was busy and directions to our site weren't the best (the person checking us in was new). The park does offer a lot of extras geared towards kids. Convenient access to Harpers Ferry and surrounding national park. Nice campground, fun for the kids, but does get busy. We never did use the pool because it was packed. We did enjoy our stay however!
