As full-time RVers, we had the worst experience of our travels at the Lakeside KOA in Fort Collins. My wife merely asked about why the guest fees were so high for use of the playground. The senior owner quickly became agitated. Then he became verbally abusive, shouting insults at my wife as he pursued her while she was retreating from the campground office. My wife felt very threatened. We will never return to this KOA. We happily moved to Boyd Lake State Park, which is only 5 miles from south Fort Collins.

We rented a cabin for our daughter to come over from Utah. The campground provided no sheets for the beds, towels, blankets. So we had to buy some sleeping bags for the kids and sheets for our daughter and towels for all..
