Description: Double G RV Park is only 1 of 2 campgrounds that surround Deep Creek Lake in western MD. The park has Wifi, Cable (rental of cable box required) and has pull through and regular full hookups. The park is about 50% seasonal owners and the other 50% are renting visitors. The park is clean and well kept but I wouldn't consider it fancy. The owners/operators are extremely friendly and willing to help out as needed. Due to the mountain location, they are no open in the Winter. If you are looking for a remote and quiet campground around Deep Creek Lake, look no further. Great things to due within minutes of the campground.

Pros: Quite, well kept, convenient location.
Cons: Wifi limited during peak holidays, minimal extras (ex. no pool)

I have visited this campground twice, once during Memorial Day and once in mid October (it was cold then!). The campground is clean and well kept, owners/operators are extremely nice and accommodating. The park has a small store, volleyball court, corn hole game, horseshoe pits, pavilion and kids playground. A good portion of the park are long term renters with converted RVs. The people we have talked, both short and longer term renters, have been extremely nice. The RV park isn't fancy but is located down the street from the lake and within minutes to shops, restaurants and outdoor activities (to include Wisp Mountain Resort). If you are looking for a quite relaxing RV park in western MD, highly recommended. Correction to my submission, there are no pull throughs.
