Fun Valley is a few miles South of South Fork, Colorado headed toward Pogosa Springs and Wolf Creek Pass.
It's a large park with 450+ RV spaces, motel, cabins and RV rental. They also have a very good restaurant and the best hamburger and ice cream in Colorado.
There are 18 ponds with trout stocked weekly, horse back riding, paddle boats, miniature golf course, bike rental and lot's of music with jam sessions and a dance band playing three times a week. There are several good forest roads to drive into the mountains for a picnic and wildlife watching.
I've never seen another park quit like this one.

We stayed for a weekend and really enjoyed our time there. The people are very friendly. Seems like a lot of Texans show up, and they all get to know each other as they stay for quite a while. But they are friendly to the rest of us that might just show up for a weekend, or so. It's nice to have a restaurant at a campground where you can get a really nice dinner.

Too far from home! Haha

Just learned Fun Vally has sold to a group from Texas! Sounds like they are making many new improvements to the camp ground! Bad news, the price for rv. Pads has increased.
