Description:

Big rig friendly (and anything else down to tents) campground. Recently under new management, but is an oasis of calm and quiet and great place to stop the world on the way up or down US395 or across OR140. Private fishing lake (no license), walking paths, surrounded by 9500 acre cattle ranch. One mile off OR140 down a dusty gravel road (go slo!) Besides cattle, there are ton of rockchucks (marmots), some deer and pronghorn (elk in season) and great for bird watchers (eagle, hawks, magpies, swifts to name a few. Wide sites, about half have sewer, leveling can be problematic. Some shade trees, pull forward for satellite.
