Description:
|
Three man-made lakes offer 400 acres of water for fishing and boating while a family aquatic center provides swimming fun. About two-thirds of the campsites are in a wooded area. 122 sites are electric and 42 non-electric. As with most Indiana State Parks, water is not available at all sites and most spigots do not have a threaded connection.
The best sites (IMO for our taste and 36' MH) are 301-310. Followed by site 45, then in no particular order....... 9, 10, 14-16, 18, 29(pull through), 34, 41, 46-55, 57, 58, 69, 81(pull through), 83-86, 94, 102, 105(dumpster right next to site), 106 and 120. Most of these sites have gravel pads, are larger sites and most have some privacy.
Some of the sites in the park are mostly dirt and would make a mess of your RV in inclement weather.
Interior roads are asphalt. There is a dump station and water fill site just before the campground entrance station.
Pictures are typical of some of the sites I have listed above. Site 307 is typical of the 301-310 sites.
We did not stay here and we never use the restrooms so I did not check them out. I drove through to see if it would be a park we would like to visit.
Click on the pictures and they will be upright. Don't know what went wrong here.
