Pros: Quiet, nicely spaced, clean, WIFI, Close to Amana Colonies and Iowa City
Cons: No FHU, many sites not level

This campground was immaculate. The employees were helpful and friendly. WiFi in one of the loops, but because of the hills WiFi is spotty in some sites. We didn't use the bathrooms...never do. The sites are gravel and they were all groomed nice and smooth. Many sites are not level enough for a MH. Site 78 is the best site IMO but because of the rain, and fear of the site having puddles, we chose site 43. They "lock" the gate at 10:30, a ranger told me it really wasn't locked, but it kept all traffic at night out and the campground was quiet. There is a very nice walking trail around the 27 acre lake, great for a stroll. Lots of deer and turkey were seen while we were there. Nice clean modern dump station. We would give this a 9 or 10 if more sites were MH friendly.
This is a very nice county park, one of the best we have been in.
