This campground had received some pretty bad ratings in the past. The new owners appear to be doing work to it so time will tell. It carries a fairly hefty price tag for what they have to offer. The free wi-fi worked. The entrance was blacktop, which was all potholed up, except for the many speed bumps they had all over the place. Once you passed the narrow entrance by the office the gravel access roiads were average. The spaces were large enough but they had enough pitch to them that in order to level a 40' coach the front end was pretty high up on blocks. You can hear the race track in the distance on certain evenings in summer but the traffic noise on US-101 is pretty well shielded. The water was good and the full hookups worked fine. Next time we may try someplace else though. There are some nice places north or south of Eureka for less money. Compared to everything else in Eureka, this was the best of them though. Not a very good value for the money. We stayed here in a 40' motorhome in June 2006.
