Pros: Next to a lake, lots of shade
Cons: Tight spaces, dirt roads and sites

We found this campground a real challenge. The owners were very so-so and not too friendly. They charge extra for everything so if you have a big family or plan on having guests better plan on spending quite a bit extra. Even the dog was $1.00 but they provide no dog run area or anything for them. We were directed to a spot that became a real challenge to get into. The spot itself was long enough and immensely wide but the access roads were tight and the low overhanging trees made it impossible to navigate without rubbing against limbs. The narrow roads were coupled with tight right angle turns that required seesawing back and forth to make them and both the sites and roads were pure dirt. If it rains in this place it's gotta be a real mudhole. We were also surrounded by tons of permanent campers that weren't overly kept up. If you're into the lake scene there were some nicer sites closer to the lake but you have to manage to get to them first. With a small tow vehicle and a popup, you'd probably like those sites. We stayed here June 2006 in a 40' motorhome, but not again.
