Pros: near freeway
Cons: WiFi is fee only - and does not work anyway

We had an acknowledged reservation - but arrival was just like there was none [sort of a good luck-try to find a space driving without a map...]

there was plenty of spaces... and i'm betting we could have skipped the reservation and went down the road another 1/4 and used the alternate campground with better "welcome"

Pros: Clean and Quiet with a Pool
Cons: Older KOA, with all gravel for pavement.

We had to make last minute change vacation plans, on the road from Grand Canyon. KOA Needles had a 50A site available online, so we booked via the iPhone. Glad we got the 50A spot, as it was 110 outside. Wifi was slow, but the pool was very inviting. The lady at the desk was able to pull up our reservation quickly, with the email confirmation number. We were in our spot, plugged in and cooling off, inside of 10 minutes from when we roll up.
The location is right on the old Route 66, which was far enough from the Interstate to be silent for sleeping.

Pros: It provided service during Covid shutdown when other parks were closed
Cons: It is not a resort - great overnight solution

We appreciated the availability of the park. Getting a site in Needles can be a challenge as the area is an I40 stop, but not much else. Got an easy access site, coming and going. Price with KOA discount was about $45 and the staff was friendly and supportive. It is not a resort, but it is a FHU park with availability. We like it, because it's a nice distance to get a first day start from our home base and same on the return.
