Description:
|
Often overlooked. County owned on A1A along the Atlantic ocean just north of the Sebastian Inlet. This peninsula park in the Indian River has an abundance of water front sites for boat, kayak or just swimming.
Busy on weekends but the mid-week availabilities are excellent.
No sewer on sites but 50 amp and clean restrooms. Campfires on the river are great.

Pros:

Surrounded by water. Open sites with easy access.

Lots of no see-ums, screen room a must in the evening

If you like water activities... great place! Has boat ramp. Lots of kayaking opportunities. No general store or services, so plan on bringing everything you need. Water is OK. Table and outdoor grill/fire pit on sites. Sebastian Inlet near by. I like the sites numbered in the 50's.
