Description: We were fortunate to find this rare gem of a campground after a last minute change of plans landed us in the keys. Beautiful location for great sunsets. Recent change in management appears to have positively impacted the maintenance - based on prior reviews. Bath houses were fairly clean but lacked hooks to hang towels or clothes in most shower stalls. On site general store has a lot of supplies, food bait and camp necessities. The resort has a great restaurant with a wide variety of choices for both lunch and dinner. Not open for breakfast. Pool was recently refinished - quite large and heated - two hot tubs and nice beach area for swimming and snorkeling. Plenty of great fishing spots right on site - tons of activities, nightly happy hours and sunset celebrations - we highly recommend this CG and look forward to staying here again.

Pros: Location, pool, bar, staff, marina
Cons: dirty and very overcrowded and noisy on the weekend

We were there last summer when they were still working on the hot tub and finishing the pool repair. We arrived at the beginning of the week and all was great except I picked up almost a bag of trash at our site so our dogs wouldn't get sick. Had 4 wonderful days and then the weekend happened. Almost every annual campsite was full of people, loud music and you couldn't get near the pool. We saw people sleeping outside of the campers even. I hope the new owners have addressed this because it really is a beautiful property and we would love to go back.
