Pros: Spectacular scenery, peace, quiet and LOTS of stars at night
Cons: none

This is quite possibly the nicest state park we have ever stayed at. If you stay here be sure and hike the trails and visit the small towns in the area ( both occupied & 'ghost' )

All sites have picnic table w/cover, fire ring and shepherds hook for you lantern. We had no problems finding a site that would accomodate us ( 38 foot Class A ) and our tow vehicle.

This campground is located in Eastern Nevada just north of Panaca. The closest big city is Cedar City, Utah which is about 2 hours east. We enjoyed the isolation and the surprising amount of things to do so much that we turned a 1 night stay into 3 nights.

Pros: convenient place to stay heading N/S in eastern NV
Cons: no hook-ups

Stayed here overnight heading north up the east side of Nevada. For no hookups and only one night stay, I would probably save the $14 and overnight somewhere free. That being said, seemed like a nice quiet state park and would probably stay here for a few days if i wasn't just passin' through.

Pros: Clean and Quiet
Cons:

Wonderfull place. Went here to escape the Vegas heat and found a well maintained very clean state park. Showers and restrooms were among the cleanest i have ever seen. Trails everywhere for hiking and some of the most interesting rock formations to be found. The Slit Caves are amazing. Definitely will return here again and again.
