Description: Windmill Point is a private park near the north shore of Lake Erie about 10 km from the Peace Bridge. It is located right next to the bicycle trail that goes around the Niagara peninsula.
About 3/4 of the RV spots are filled with permanent residents, there is a large tent area that is mostly empty. The park has 24 hour security, wristbands are used to allow reentry for paid guests.
The park surrounds and old quarry that is filled with water and is the primary attraction in the park. They have life guards in the swimming area, but swimming is also permitted around the entire perimeter of the quarry.
We paid about $60 per night for a week's stay with 30 amp electrical and water, no sewer. They do have full service sites. I didn't see any that were pull-through. Staff is very friendly, park is very well-kept.
