Description: There are very few places to stay around Charlotte, NC. We found out about Ebenezer Park from this forum. They have full hookups and easy access. It is a county Park but is a nice campground. The sites are kind of close together. If you stay in the back there are a lot of trees and relatively flat, gravel pads. If you stay in the front part, there is a great view of the lake but not trees. It appears there are a few long term campers there so when they are gone, the campground is really quite. I t is clean and well kept. It's an easy 30 minute drive to downtown Charlotte. We were there for an NFL football game. If you do go for a football game Charlotte has a train system that will take you all over with bus line connections. You can park in big parking lots, catch the train and its a 3 block walk to the stadium. We will stay there again the next time the Hawks play in Charlotte.
