Pros: Large, semi-private sites
Cons: Steep hill going into campground

This is one of my favorite campgrounds. We camphost here during May and August, so I tend to be a little biased towards the park. There are lots of activities available at/through the park from swimming in the large pool, hiking on the trails, wading in the creek near the tunnel on your own. The park offers guided tours with kayaking, canoeing, canorkeling (canoe trip with snorkeling), cave tours, some full-moon hikes and then hayrides and welcome campfire on Friday and other nights during the summer season. There is lots of history in the area and the park offers historical re-enactments at their Block House. They also offer star-gazing with professors from a nearby university throughout the summer camping season. This is the place to go if you just want to sit outside in the shade and enjoy the quiet or to have activities that are planned for you during your stay. Lover's Leap Campground offers sites that are adjacent to other sites, but with the way they are angled, you have some semblance of privacy when you are sitting outside.
