Description:
|
Whiskey Flats was a new campground in 2004. It is located on highway 95 between Las Vegas and Reno. 30/50 amp FHU are available with pull throughs and back ins. Interior roads are gravel and sites are mostly gravel.

Very clean, good stop over

small trees no shade, can be windy

We kept out coach here during the late summer of 2004. There is a lot to see around Hawthorne, ghost towns and the Mineral Museum to name two. A large grocery chain store is within walking distance from Whiskey Flats. Most of the patrons during our stay were overnighters. We would definately stay here again. We would give it a 10 for the cleanliness of the entire RV park.

Very good campground.
Cement Slabs, picnic table, very good hookups, nice mountain view.
Doesn't get a 10 because I don't rate things a 10 other than my wife
