Description: Whiskey Flats was a new campground in 2004. It is located on highway 95 between Las Vegas and Reno. 30/50 amp FHU are available with pull throughs and back ins. Interior roads are gravel and sites are mostly gravel.

Pros: Very clean, good stop over
Cons: small trees no shade, can be windy

We kept out coach here during the late summer of 2004. There is a lot to see around Hawthorne, ghost towns and the Mineral Museum to name two. A large grocery chain store is within walking distance from Whiskey Flats. Most of the patrons during our stay were overnighters. We would definately stay here again. We would give it a 10 for the cleanliness of the entire RV park.

Pros: Clean, Quiet, Well Cared for.
Cons: Haven't found any.

Very good campground.
Cement Slabs, picnic table, very good hookups, nice mountain view.

Doesn't get a 10 because I don't rate things a 10 other than my wife
