This review is based on a 4 night stay in July of 2006. There is not much to add to the above mentioned CG description. Except for being a bit tight for big rigs, we enjoyed our stay and will stay here again. If you like being in a Florida forest, this is the place for you. There are lots of trees and Florida plants. There is a Manatee viewing area about 2 miles from the CG. The Homosassa River is near and fishing is good. The Homosassa River provides a no obstruction (bridge) access to the Gulf of Mexico about 8 miles down river.
On edit, this is based on a 4 night stay in July of 2007. This is a Passport America park. The price mentioned above is the PA price. All the above remains accurate. Now that the Passport America price is available this becomes an excellent value CG to stay. Full hookup pull through site for $18.50 per night.
