Pros: Owners are great. Campground is beautiful.
Cons: None

The owners make you feel like you are good family. Very helpful and nice. The only place to stay in Gatlinburg, TN. The grounds are well kept and the sites arer level and large. Great for Big Rigs. Shade on most sites. Paved sites for big Rigs. Gravel for others. Are are leveleven though you are in the mountains. Will be back.

Pros: very clean, nice size lots
Cons: cable gets only the 4 network channels

owners make this campground great, they pay attention to details and what campers look for in a site. all sites had ample room for even large RVs. i was still able to get a signal from DirecTV without a problem. bathrooms were very clean. we will be coming back for sure.

Pros: clean, friendly owners and guests
Cons: sites a little tight for over 39' units, a little farther from the attractions than some other campgrounds.

My apologies for the delayed review, we stayed here in June, 2011. We tried this campground out based on the reviews here, when looking for somewhere to stay in Gatlinburg. We pull a 41' 5ver, and my wife's parents, brother, and daughters came with us and rented the Papa Bear cabin. The cabin was nice, a little smaller than the photos suggested but good enough for 5 of them to stay. The only downside is they could not close the bedroom door since the only a/c unit was in the living room, and it was hot in June/July. Our pull thru site was nice, if not a little narrow. I had a little trouble unhooking due to a very steep incline immediately after the cement pad, which was just big enough for the trailer. It put the truck and trailer at a very unnerving angle. In order to have enough room to get the awning out, I had to pull so close to bushes on the left side that I crushed the bushes with my main slide.

Once settled in, the owners walked over and introduced themselves, and made us feel right at home. The pool was very clean, and the kids enjoyed it several times. Unlike most campgrounds these days, they refused to take any money for additional guests we had over for a picnic during the trip.

During the week, my brother drove up from Mississippi and rented the caribu camper for a few days. They did a nice job of cleaning it, and turned on the a/c for him so it was comfortable the day he arrived. He said it was very nice, and the bed was quite comfortable.

Bottom line, I would definitely stay here again next time in the area. Although, I do recommend avoiding site 44 with a long 5ver, 42 or 43 would have worked nicely. 44 is just fine for a motor home or shorter trailer.
