This review is based on a 3 night stay in June 2008. For the price paid, I would expect WIFI to be free and the site to be level. My front wheels were off the ground and blocks under the jacks to get the coach level. The sewer connection was up hill from the coach! The sites are wide and long (pull throughs). The CG is clean and very well maintained. The facitlities are modern. Staff is friendly and helpful. The CG has no trees. Your Sat TV should be okay. Big rigs are okay in this CG. The location of the CG is good for getting to local attractions. I will not stay here again, unless a site in the level section of the CG (in the rear of the CG) can be made available.

This is an update to my previous review. This review is based on a 7 night stay in August 2010. I had site number 105. The site was level. All the items mentioned in my previous review remain correct.
If you go here, get a site on the south end and rear of the CG. This would be sites 86 through 116. The sites on the north side of the CG are not level. Stay away from sites 1 through 18 and 33 through 41.
WIFI remains an additional charge. One does get 15 minutes free every 24 hours.

This is a port in the storm.
The area is very busy with lots to see and do.
The campground gave us a port to head out to visit the area. We looked at a few other campgrounds north of the area and were glad we were at Shipshe South.
We stayed 3 nights. The showers were great. The staff was very helpful.
I recommend. We will go back and use it as a base to see the area in the future.
They have many long pull through for towed with full hook up and also tent sights.
I did wish they gave Good Sam discounts. They do not.
We are happy to have found them!
