Description:

You really can't get any farther north in Michigan than here. At the end of the Keewanaw Peninsula, it is a windy, narrow road with no shoulders & some pretty good drop-offs for the last 12 miles. But, it is worth the effort.
The campground is on Lake Fannie Hooe, and is about 1/4 mile from Lake Superior. Large wide back-ins only as the campground is split by second street. 30 amp service with water & sewer and a good, strong wifi signal at the site. No Verizon signal for miles!
Plenty to do with a state park nearby, boat tours to the lighthouse, hiking, biking, Keewanaw Mt. overlook for some spectacular views of the Lake & Lake plus if your lucky and ore freighter will be in transit for you to see.
I rate the campground a 6 out of ten. No 50 amp is a big down-rater for me.

Other than state parks, this is the only campground in the far northern UP. Very dusty, and ABSOLUTELY NO washing of vehicles (rv or car). No 50 amp service.
