Description:
|
Loads of trees, a number of cabins for rent, plus RV sites with full and partial hookups. The resort also has a dock with boat slips and boat rentals. Canoes and kayaks can be beached near the marina. Nearly every site has a view of the lake. The access into the resort is a couple of miles north on HWY 191 then west on about 8 miles of gravel. This travel is on a slow, narrow, but "doable" forest service road. Unhook your toad before going down the gravel road. This leaves you away from the crowds of West Yellowstone but sitting among all the stars in heaven shared only with fellow campers, an occasional moose or bear, a load of night-feeding trout and so quiet you can hear your own heart beating.
Family run and great, friendly service. People go back here year after year. Everyone should go at least once in their lifetime.
Yellowtone park, all sorts of great trout fishing, hiking, dining in W. Yellowstone and daily desire to catch another trout for dinner will fill your time.
Full Hook ups for $32/night. Week rate is $6 X $32 with seventh night free.
Pictures show a view across Hebgen Lake and two typical trout caught in Hebgen Lake.
