Description:

This is a small campground with 27 sites, water and electric. There is a dump station on site. Interior roads are in fair condition, and you need to watch the overhanging trees. Some sites are wider than others. The campground is part of Mountain Valley Airport. MVAP is a private airport ussed mostly by glider pilots, so it is pretty quiet. We didn't use the restrooms, but I peeked at them and they appeared very clean.

We stayed here in a 36' MH. Our site, #27, was very wide. The campground has nice scenery, both of the mountains and valley. Sites are fairly level, and most are pull thrus. We did have to unhook the toad. While here we took advantage of the Glider Port. Patty and I both went for a glider ride. This park had quite a few stop over RV'ers from Hyw 58. The Tehachapi Loop, a railroad historic site, is close by for railroad buffs.
