Description: This CG has two sections. The original Rally Park has grass back in sites and 30 AMP full hookup service. The new part of the park (next to the service center) has concrete pad back in 50 AMP full hookup sites. There are 66 50 AMP sites and about 225 30 AMP sites. The contact number is 800-225-7802. There is a full service, RV service center on site. There is a large covered pavilion. There are smaller completely enclosed meeting rooms. A snack bar is open for breakfast and lunch, Monday through Saturday. The site also has a large RV accessory and parts store. There is no pool or playground.

Review Date: Sun October 14, 2007 Would you recommend the campground? Yes | Price you paid?: $30.00 | Rating: 8

Pros: level concrete pads, central location to area attractions
Cons: bad water, inconvenient security gate opening process

This review is based on a 7 night stay in October of 2007. This is an excellent CG for a base camp of area attractions. The price is a value for a concrete pad and 50 AMP full hookup service. Within a 50 mile radius of the CG are many famous attractions. Gold/gem panning, Biltmore Estate, Chimney rock and Grandfather mountain are just a few of the sights to see. Like its' twin CG in Concord, NC there are no CG activities. The reason to stay here is to see the area. During the year, the area has many festivals, each with their own theme. I will stay here again.

My assumption is the bad water problem will be solved. The CG has municiple water. There was red clay getting into the CG water. It clogged two coach water filters.
