A bit hilly but great excersize!

I shouldn't brag about this CG if I want reservations when I need them.
Mama G's is so accessible to the Asheville area and yet so private and quiet. Beautifully maintained landscaping, great views, clean facilities and some of the greatest people we've met. We've been twice and plan on going back many more times.
*They're adding sites at the top of the mountain with a view to match any.

OK, so there's no pool. This CG is tops in cleanliness with as clean of shower/restrooms as any facility. Add beautiful landscaping, creeks, little waterfalls and a great clubhouse and store then top that with some of the best host and staff and you've got one of the best you'll ever stay at.
Just don't tell too many folks so we can still get our reservations. :-)

Pros:

Quiet and beautiful setting
|
Cons:
|
It is on the side of a hill, pulling out is not for the faint of heart, or weak brakes
|

This is our favorite campground (I 40 Exit 59) in the Ashville area , but be prepared to hike up hill and down, it is hilly . The staff is very helpful and friendly. Close to Biltmore (9 miles) and the Farmers Market (junction 26/40) is great!

This is a gem of a park. Superb scenery from the site (way up the mountain in the new section). If you are in this area and don't try this park, you've missed a great time. I highly recommend the place.

Gem of a campground. Fantastic views. Super-friendly staff. Very quiet. Easy pull-thru sites at uppermost level. Decent WiFi.
