Description:

This CG is changing it's name to Ocala Sun RV Resort. The park is located 1/2 mile West of I75 exit 341. There are back in and pull through sites. There is a good size pool. The park is pet friendly. The park has a dog bath, pool and play area. There is a club house. There is one shower/bath facility. Almost all sites have full hookup 50 AMP service. The sites are grass. They are level and hard packed. There is no dirt. The grass is thick and well maintained. Sites are avaialble for purchase, short or long term rent.

This is a nice basic CG. the pull through sites are very large. So large that one does not mind the side by side hookups. Coaches pull far enough forward to not be that close, on the hookup side. This is one of the few parks I do not mind a grass site. There is plenty of grass, no dirt and the ground is very hard. The retail rate for a 50 AMP site is $54. per night. The Passport America rate is $27.00/night. I was here for two, back to back, rallies and paid $24.00 per night. For $24 or $27 per night give this park consideration. The CG is well maintained and clean. The shower and bath facility was clean. There are a few social activities provided by the CG.
I will stay here again.

Ants! I got a lot of ants there and several people around me did too

It was nice. I used the laundry. It's far from decent (not Winn Dixie) grocery stores. Paid a lot for an Uber to get food.
The only issue I had was ants. By my 3rd day they'd found their way up the stabilizers, I guess, and in through a crack between door and jamb. I may start carrying diatomaceous earth to sprinkle under my rig when parked on dirt spots from now on, especially around the stabilizers. I thought maybe it was FL but then parked on coral and gravel and didn't have the issue.
