Description: A beautiful campground located in the Cook Forest state park area of northwest PA. Roads are gravel and the sites are grass, mostly level, and set amongst tall pines and hemlocks. The campground has a large, well stocked campstore, a heated pool, playground, cabins, banquet room, pavillion and free wi-fi. The campground is quite popular and fills up fast for weekends; although, during the week, it's very quiet and much less occupied.

There's so much to do in the area with both Cook Forest and Clear Creek state parks, the Forest Cathedral, the Fire Tower to climb, horseback riding stables, the Clarion River to canoe/tube on and numerous great restaurants, that it's hard to find time to experience everything.

This is a very enjoyable campground to stay at while visiting all the destinations in the area.

Review Date: Sat April 12, 2008 Would you recommend the campground? Yes | Price you paid?: $34.00 | Rating: 8

Pros: Shaded sites, pool, free wi-fi, activities
Cons: Trees can interfere with slides, some sites too close

Price paid is for a fhu, back-in site.

There is great need for a sarcasm font.
