Description: Small, quiet family-owned campground, at the top of a ridge on the far east side of Zanesville. Don't miss the turn onto Buckeye Dr. from Rt 666 (ominious route number, isn't it?) because there's no place to turn around and about a mile past the campground road is an overpass that's only 10'7" clearance.

Roads in the campground are gravel and sites are gravel and grass. Small, stocked campstore. Clean, heated pool and clean, well ventillated restrooms. Laundromat. There's a small pavillion next to the pool for picnics and a gameroom. Not much of a playground. It's a few large tractor tires and some plastic kid buildings and slide. Sites are fairly level and the pull through sites near the store are VERY long, although narrow. Free Wi-Fi here. This is one of the few campgrounds that DOESN'T charge for visiting guests - unless they stay overnight.

Close to Wal-Mart, K-Mart and a host of chain restaurants that are on that side of town.

Pros: Long pull throughs, free wi-fi, quiet, nice pool, pretty views
Cons: Narrow entrance road, old playground equipment

Price paid is for a fhu, pull-thru site.

Pros: value priced, free WIFI, clean
Cons: narrow entry roads, a bit difficult to find

This review is based on a 1 night stay in August 2008. The price paid includes my Good Sam discount. The CG is located off of exit 155 on I70. Call the CG or use the directory for directions on how to get to the CG. Big rigs should have no problem with this CG. Some of the pull throughs are 80' long! I concur with the previously posted review. This is a good overnight stop. With or without kids this CG would also be good for a few nights. There are some activities for children. Staff is friendly and helpful.

Pros: Inexpensive,Friendly Staff, Clean, Level Sites, Free WIFI,
Cons: Pool is small

We went May 6-8, 2011. The rainy Ohio weather kept a lot of people away. We went mother's day weekend buy 1 night get 1 night free. Our site was nice and level. We had no problem finding a place to put our car dolly. The campground is small, but everyone was very friendly. We had a great relaxing weekend!
