Pros: Very nice campground located in Ohio Amish country
Cons: Some of the spaces, while paved, were not very level

We held an Ohio Cardinals Rally here. Great facilities and lots of attractions in the area.
Prices seem to have gone up quite a bit lately.

Pros: New Campground, indoor pool/ hot tub
Cons: packed in like sardines, very $$$$$

Did not stay here. Just drove thru for a "look / see". Yes everything was brand new, but with all that farmland around the sites were so close together starting a fire would be risky in some sites. Just about all the sites were occupied by large rigs and pushers. Asphalt City......

Pros: Brand new, excellent utilities layout, pool/hot tub/club house, immaculate bathrooms, located at edge of Amish country
Cons: New trees provide no shade, some sites require much levelling, pricey (kids over 13 extra charge)

Beautiful, new (since 2005) campground, located on RT 250 just outside of the town of Mt. Eaton at the eastern edge of Ohio's Amish community. There are no permanents, so all sites are available for overnight, week or longer stays.

All facilities at this place are top-notch. Everything is bright & clean, the grounds & landscaping are extraordinary & the staff is friendly & helpful. The laundry facility (next to the check-in/campstore) is huge with all sizes of machines, mobile tables for folding & a station for ironing. In front of the campstore is a small worship facility. The pool house contains an absolutely fabulous heated pool & hot tub & has a roof that retracts for that "open air" experience as well as sliding screened side doors that open. The showerhouse/restrooms are also located here & are kept immaculately clean. The shower rooms are actual "rooms" with a shower, sink & commode enclosed by a locking frosted glass shower door. This area has heated floors!! Adjacent to the pool is a gameroom, fitness room & a snack bar. Outside is a small playground, shuffleboard, horseshoes, basketball & volleyball courts. There are wagon & buggy rides & basket-making demonstrations (& in the fall, apple butter making) are done by local craftsmen & women. There's a large pavillion with built in grills available for rent & a large firepit just outside for group use. Wi-Fi is free & easy to get with multiple transmitters located in the campground. For those that don't have rv's, there are tent sites, primitive (no water/potties) cabins & an Inn on site. There's even a coin-operated dog wash for your pooch.

All roads & site pads are asphalt paved. The sites are all 50a & 30a full hook up with cable, have picnic tables & firepits and are separated by small split-rail fencing w/landscaping. Since the campground is new, the planted trees are still small & provide no shade, but this makes it great for satellite reception. About 2/3 of the sites are pull-thru's (located behind the campstore) & the rest surround the pavillion. I was surprised that this new of a facility didn't have sites that were levelled better. Many sites, although long, had a front to back slope making blocking a must. This, IMO, is the only downside of this fine campground.

If you want a truely "resort"-type campground located close to all there is to see & do in Ohio's Amish country, this is the campground to be your base of operations. I would highly recommend this facility to anyone travelling to or through this area.

Pros: very clean, excellent upkeep
Cons: a few sites are not very level

We came with a rally group and our price was discounted to $38.25 per day. Excellent location for Amish country sight-seeing. Very courteous staff, excellent upkeep. Full hookups: 50/30AMP, water, sewer, WiFi, cable TV, ATM. Church, pavilion, indoor swimming pool (roof opens in good weather), & game room on the premises. All inside roads and sites are paved. Easy access, between I-77 & I-71 on US Rte 250, 1/4 mile east of Mt.Eaton. Highly recommend.
