Description: Nice, clean, and spacious campground located less than a mile off of I-20 at the Mississippi River bridge. They have 67 pull through spaces with full hook-ups, 50 amp service, cable tv and WIFI. The Vicksburg National Battlefield Park and the County Courthouse Museum are located within a few miles of the CG and are a must see while passing through the area. The Ameristar Casino is across the street as well as two other casinos a short drive down the street. Pros: Easy on/off the interstate, very clean. Shuttle to casino and security
Cons: Very few trees and some of the sites need some work but they are in the process of renovating the sites.

If you spend a little time in the casino they will comp your stay. Nice park, very quiet with security patrols. They are working on the sites and some are a little unlevel or the concrete is broken up. Very convenient to the National Park and downtown. Very clean and convenient.

Pros: Clean laundry room, plenty of dog walking areas
Cons: Close to RR tracks, lower sites have spotty WIFI

Staff was very helpful. Casino shuttle was always available and the buffet was great. Ameristar is the largest casino in the area. There are a lot of attractions close by for Civil War buffs. Worth the stop if your passing by.

Pros: Easy to get to.
Cons: Unlevel

Nice place to stay, still no shade, $27. Tax included. Not only was the lot unlevel but the sites were as well not just front to back and side to side but the four slaves in each site were going different ways my levelers have never worked so hard getting the job done

Pros: Nice pull throughs and they have trees planted and a pool
Cons: none

We stayed going and coming. We used our Good Sam discount (they wanted the number). (I noticed another person checking in was paying less, but I have no idea what kind of RV they had). It was easy to get to and easy to leave and get back on the interstate. The shuttle comes right to your coach if you ask them to. We toured the Vicksburg battle areas, and the tours and info were well worth the time. We also went to "Tomatoes" to eat (twice!). Great BLTs and banana smoothies. (it is just a big vegetable stand on the side of the road that has hit the big time). Park is close to shopping, etc.
