Description: The new owner bought this park almost one year ago. He has done "tons" of work. The campground has paved roads, shaded gravel campsites, and some concrete patios. 30 and 50 amp is available. There are 22 sites with full hook ups, 8 of which are right on the river. 10 more sites are available with water and electric only.

Pros: scenic, quiet, and close to Sequoia National Park
Cons: some sites are tight and may not be suitable for slideouts

We had looked at many RV parks in the area one year ago, and found only one that we would have felt comfortable in staying. Unfortunately that RV park only allowed small dogs. Sequoia RV Ranch is another choice now for visitors to Sequoia National Park, or just wanting to get away. The owner aptly calls it a "Ranch" not a resort. The park has a pool, but it is in a quiet spot in the river, with it's own beach. The owners make you feel right at home, stopping by to see if everything is OK, a nice touch. The sites along the river have a wonderful view. In the spring, the sound of the river can be heard from most of the park . There is a path along the river from which fishing is allowed, except around the swimming hole.

Sequoia National Park's entrance station is a short 10 minute drive, and the big Sequoia trees are less than one hour away.

We stayed here in a 36' MH, and will definately be back.

Pros: Quiet, fun for kids, safe, easy access, friendly owners and staff
Cons: WiFi is currently a little weak as is the cable TV but they are working on upgrading these items

We found this place last year, have been back once with family and friends and are returning with yet more family and friends again. It is truly a nice spot to camp. Reservations are easy and scheduling is flexible. Campgrounds like this are few and far between.

Pros: senic setting in a canyon of sycamore trees
Cons: some permanent "campers".

We stayed in the Campground USA designated 1/2 price sites ($16) Water and 30amp electricity. Grounds workman blew leaf blower from 1:30pm until dusk. Dust from blower filled the canyon. We couldn't set out due to dust. Staff asked why we were staying in the "cheap seats?" We left next morning.

Pros: Peaceful, Scenic, Owners are fantastic!
Cons: Wifi, very weak and cable is so-so

We stayed in the campground for 3 nights. It was about 1/2 full on Saturday night, but most people left Sunday morning. We had a back-in along the river (#52). Plenty of room for our 33ft with slides on both sides plus our Dodge Caravan. Our front door opened to the river and it was only a few steps down to the rivers edge. Really nice place and we plan to go back!

Pros:
Cons:

We have reserved space 53 and the lady I talked to was real nice. We will be there for 5 nights. Hope we won't be disappointed since we are driving from San Diego. Our first long trip since we bough this new to us rig. :-)

PS: We plan on taking a few day trips into Sequoia National Park and we have two small Yorkie, will that be a problem? Someone said, not pets.

Pros: Family Atmosphere, many day trip destinations
Cons: Some spaces very close

Very nice family campground. No swimming pool but there is a fun swimming hole. We had a great time exploring the Sequoia's.
