Description: This is truely a beautiful campground located on a penninsula at a high quality resort & golf course that's centrally located in WV. The website is www.stonewallresort.com. The resort consists of a grand timber-framed lodge & hotel, cottages, houseboats, an Arnold Palmer designed golf course, club house, & campground. The resort is easy to get to, just off of Interstate 79 at exit 91. Even though the resort is just a couple miles off the interstate, it is a very quiet & peaceful place.

All 41 of the sites in the campground are large, full hook ups with paved pads, ample gravel parking for car/boat at site, picnic table, fire ring & secured trash cans. Most of the sites have a view across the lake of the resort & clubhouse beyond.

There's a small playground, 2 clean, well-lit & ventillated restroom buildings, pavillions, plenty of paved roads for biking, trails for walking & just plenty of scenery to enjoy. There are hundreds of deer in the park that are quite tame & are frequent visitors to & through sites.

The lodge has a traditional-style restaurant, smaller, casual dining sports lounge, spa, indoor & outdoor pools/hot tubs & a large patio with firepit. There's also a restaurant located at the golf clubhouse.

You can rent pontoon boats, fishing boats, paddle boats, canoes/kayaks & there's a touring boat that cruises the inlets & waterways. Campground guest have access to these & ammenities at the lodge for a small fee.

This is an excellent campground designed to take advantage of what is most wonderful about WV. I would not hesitate to recommend this place to anyone wanting a place to go to enjoy the scenery, yet still have access to a quality resort. I rarely rate a campground this high, but this one is every bit a 10.

There is great need for a sarcasm font.
