Description: Large campground located right of I-70 at the OH/IN border (you actually cross into IN coming from OH & then back to OH to get to the campground).

The sites are both paved & non-paved; primitive to fhu; shaded to sunny, some with cable tv. The lakefront sites go fast, so reserve far in advance if you want one of these.

This campground has a lot of ammenities. They have: cabins, free WiFi, a heated pool, a lake (was a quarry) with a beach, paddle boats & kayaks, fishing, campstore stocked with camp-need items that has a snack bar, shelters, a chapel & there's even scuba diving (if certified)in the lake. Plus they have additional activities on the weekends.

I wouldn't hesitate to recommend this campground to anyone travelling to or through this area. This is one of my favorite campgrounds in OH.

Review Date: Mon June 23, 2008 Would you recommend the campground? Yes | Price you paid?: $33.00 | Rating: 9

Pros: Easy to get to, lots of ammenities & activities, Halloween weekends are AWESOME!
Cons: High price, grass sites can get muddy when it rains

Price paid was for a non-paved, fhu interior site. Prices range from $41 for a fhu lake front site to $18 (during the week) for a rustic (i.e. no w/e/s) site. Although, they do discount many fhu sites on their opening weekend (usually mid-April).
