RV sites are right on the creek. A park like area surrounds the sites. Canoes are available free of charge to explore the creek. We stayed near the end of their season, the first week of October. The owners have resisted expanding the RV sites into the open areas. To us, this is what makes it such a nice place.

We have passed this park and have thought of staying there, but I would personally recommend Collier State Park on 97 in Chiloquin. It is being updated and it should be even better than before. It is on the Williamson River for fishing and has a logging museum.

Mesquitos

Stayed in August. At dusk the mesquitos come out, by the millions. I mean millions. And they are hungry! A bat decided he wanted to stay in the coach with us.

We've driven past this one dozens of times, nice to get a review. And yes, you want to wait until it cools off to stay there - that whole area gets swarmed with mosquitoes in the evening.
