Pros:
|
Good location (close to town), clean, some trees and great staff
|
Cons:
|
Neighborhood a little seedy and can get a little dusty.

Very close to downtown and the historic district. Right on the river and a paved walkway on top of the levee. Fun to watch the barges. Not much to do in Vadalia but Natchez is just over the bridge. WiFi was good but hear that if you are toward the back it wont work.

We stopped there for the night and the south end of the park was underwater thus the sewer system was not usable.
It was a nice park and I would stay there again.

This is a beautiful campground, right beside the Mississippi River, just across the bridge from Natchez, MS. There's a walkway with benches along the river bank in front of the CG so you can watch the boats going up and down the river! If you stay in the north side of the CG you can see the river from your site! Lots of large shade trees. Level sites. Staff is very helpful and friendly. The roads within the CG are limestone and the white dust fogs when the weather is really dry.
We stay there about every three months while visiting the relatives in Natchez. It's a little pricey, but they don't have any competition nearby!

Pros:

Sprawling and scenic, walking path along the bank of Mississippi River
|
Cons:
|
The routers kicked us offline, frequently.

Managed by regional business leader Cappy Stahlman, who fussed over the location of my site and lamented not being able to put us on the "front" row overlooking the mighty Mississippi. Still, we had a wonderful view, the site next to ours was a whopping 115' away.
The entry and driveways are gravel, but pads themselves are concrete.
Nice facilities and friendly, attentive staff.
