Description:
|
This is a COE park located just East of Nashville. Not to far to drive into town. You go thru a neighborhood to get to the park. The roads are paved and they need to keep the limbs trimed, but the sites are gravel but level. Watch out for the skunks here. Very convient to camp while visiting Nashville. The fishing is easy from the banks. They have lots of trees here overlooking the lake.

This COE park is nice. The roads are paved, but you have to use the dump, no sewer. Very convient to visit Nashville. I would rate this park a 6. s/Toby

We loved this park. Had a site right down on the lake with lots of shade, 50 amp and water. We stopped in for a quick over night but would like to come back and stay longer. It is a ways off of I-40 but worth the drive.

Large sites, Shady sites. Wildlife. Close to shopping (Smyrna or LaVergne)..
|
Cons:

No first come first serve. Some sites are steep causing RV rear to drag.

This is one of our closest and favorite campgrounds. There's electric and water but no onsite sewers. There is the usual dump station. The sites on the lake are nice and trees are everywhere. The whole campground is heavily wooded. Many sites across the road also have a view of the lake. Unless someone has a barking dog, the place is usually quiet. Fire rings and picnic tables are provided. Gazebos and screen rooms are allowed. One tent plus an RV is allowed on the sites. There's a boat ramp to launch your boat. Bathrooms and showers are clean. If you're a tent camper the tent area on the hill is one of the best I've ever seen. Seniors pay half with Senior Card which can be gotten at the CG at Land Between The Lakes.
