Pros: Restaurant
Cons: Trees

We stayed here 4 nights using Passport America for the cheaper rate. There was 3 of us and after checking in and going to our sites. We thought we had made a very bad mistake. Someone was in one of our assigned sites and the other pull-thrus did not look easy to get into because of all the trees, plus they were not much gravel, mostly dirt. We did get our rigs parked and setup. There are several pull-thrus along the highway, but they are not as long as the ones we were in and not level. Saw one guy move out of them.

Two of us was able to get WIFI okay, but the one on the outside could not due to weak signal. There was so many trees that only one of us could use the satellite dome and I had to put my tripod out.

They area has a lot of history about the Nez Perce Indians and Lewis & Clark.

The longer we stayed at the park, the more that we liked it, especially after eating at the restaurant. The food is fantastic. They have a great cook who will do about anything you want. Try the Chief Joseph Taco. They are huge.

The couple who runs the park is very nice. If you are here in Kamiah on a Sunday morning, attend the 2nd Indian Presbyterian Church. It is a small church with mostly Nez Perce members, but what a very friendly group. We really enjoyed worshiping with them and talking with them.

Pros: A bit rustic (changed a lot with the new ownership last year) great food!
Cons: could have bettter wi-fi coverage

Stayed 5 days over Labor Day '09. The town goes all out with their free Kamiah Days BBQ. Lot's of good motorcycling up and down the Clearwater river area. Owners are great! You'll feel right at home!
