Description: This is a COE park outside of Tuscaloosa Alabama. While the park is nice, they have pull-thrus and paved roads and sites, it is a long way our of town with many turns necessary to get there. Its on the Black Water river and is a pretty CG. Not much to do here, the water access is difficult. Its small, they only have 40 sites. They do have a boat ramp. We only stayed here one night. s/Toby

Pros: Paved sites and road. No problem for big rigs.
Cons: Lots of turns to get to the CG

This is a nice CG, but its a little out of the way and a pretty good drive back to town. s/Toby

Pros: Small, clean, nice river views from lower sites
Cons: no sewer

We stay at this COE campground 4-6 nights per year. Great folks. Good hiking. Water access is a good hike. Three fishing piers. No store but ice available. Clean bath house.

Pros: Trails to walk, biking to day use area and around camping area.
Cons: None but we love COE areas.

We stayed 5-6 days and left on the Saturday that Alabama played their spring game. Enjoyed every day!
