Description: This is a COE CG located a little ways out of Shelbyville Ill. The road in the CG was dirt and pretty bumpy. The sites were alson dirt and not level. The CG is kind of on a bluff over looking the lake which was kind of gray looking. Do not remember a lot about this place except we only stayed here one night. Would not stay again. s/Toby

Pros: Not much. Need lots of work on the roads as well as the sites,
Cons: Bad roads and sites

We were heading north and decided to spend a night here. This COE park is not up to the normal standards for COE parks. We would not stay here again. s/Toby

Pros: Large campground with assortment of campsites, beach, nice shower houses
Cons: Difficult to get in during the summer months

We have camped here numerous times while our kids were young and now with grandkids. The kids love the beach and the playground. There are various styles of campsites- buddy sites, full hook ups, electric only, etc. We have camped with a group of families, using a more open area and also by ourselves, back in a wooded area. Almost all the bathrooms have been recently remodeled. One of our go to spots.
