Description: There are over 100 campsites set in the valley of Whistler's mountain. There are LOTS of trees and roomy enough between sites to enjoy and relax. The park wardens there are very friendly and always did daily checks of the sites. It was $32CAD per night for us with power/firepit. Water and sewer were free to use near the entrance. It is very peaceful and the only campground with full hookups available. Plenty of firewood and animals(we saw chipmunks, elk, and squirrels). The power boxes are fairly new and the firepits are cement blocks..a rectangle metal box with 1 open end and a grate that sits on top. The campground is not cement like some are, it is all dirt "floor". You will need blocks. I would rather use blocks then deal with cement. It is mother nature. Jasper is only a 2 minute drive north of the campground and lots of friendly people. There is diesel fuel available at Petro Canada in Jasper. There are lots of stops along the way if you choose to do so and plenty of pull-outs for the avid photographer of the breathtaking mountains and waterfalls and many lakes. Enjoy your visit!

Pros: We spent 4 days in the park last August. Clean, beautiful trees, lots of wildlife, great price.
Cons: Fire pits not at all sites. Some a little tight getting into.

Great access to Jasper downtown. Also close proximity to lakes, hiking trails, etc. Be sure you make your reservations the day the system opens up on Feb 1 I believe. It fills up immediately for class A full hook up. Want to go back for a longer stay next summer.
